Dressing Tables
1 resultsOur white children's dressing table is 136 cm tall with its tilting mirror, so check the spot for a low windowsill or sloping ceiling. It has drawers for hair clips and jewellery. For more of the children's room, see our bedside tables, dressers and kids' beds.
How to choose a dressing table
- A mirror that adjusts: a tilting mirror can be angled for a small child and still works as they grow.
- A stool that tucks in: ours comes without a stool, so choose one that slides fully under the 75 cm top.
- Small drawers: shallow drawers keep hair clips and jewellery tidy.
Common mistakes when choosing a dressing table
- Choosing for today only: children grow quickly. Check that the mirror and the top will still suit them in a few years.
- A stool that sticks out: a stool too tall for the top cannot slide under it and gets in the way in a small room.
- Forgetting the mirror height: with its mirror, a dressing table stands much taller. Check windowsills and sloping ceilings.

Frequently asked questions
How high should a dressing table be?
Your child should sit with their elbows level with the top. Ours has its top at 75 cm, standard table height, so a younger child needs a higher stool.
How big is a dressing table?
Our children's dressing table is 70 cm wide, so it fits against a short stretch of wall.
Does a dressing table need a mirror?
It helps. Ours has a tilting mirror built in.
What is the dressing table made of?
Solid pine and white lacquered MDF (wood fibreboard).
