How to choose a car bed

• Mattress size: toddler car beds take a 70x140 mattress. The bigger ones take a standard 90x200 single mattress.
• Floor space: a car body is longer and wider than the mattress. Check the length and width on each product page.
• Height: most are low, so a child can climb in alone. The fire truck bunk bed and the princess carriage are taller.
• Theme for later: pick a design your child will still like in a few years, or start with a toddler model.

Common mistakes when choosing a car bed

• Forgetting the mattress: the mattress is always sold separately, so order one in the right size.
• Measuring only the mattress: spoilers, bumpers and wheels add length. Measure the room against the full bed.
• A mattress that is too thick: the sides should stay higher than the mattress, so keep to the thickness in the manual.

Caring for your car bed

Wipe the bed with a soft, slightly damp cloth, and avoid abrasive cleaners that can scratch the print. Check the screws now and then and tighten them if needed.
