Bed Legs
2 resultsOur middle legs go under the centre of a wide slatted base for extra support, in two height ranges: 21 to 25 cm and 27 to 30 cm. You adjust them to the gap under your bed. Measure that gap first, then choose the pair that covers it. For a new base, see our slatted bases, and for storage underneath, our bed drawers.
How to choose bed legs
- When you need them: wide beds need support under the middle of the base for stability.
- Which height: measure from the floor to the underside of the base, in the middle. Choose the shorter or the taller pair, whichever range covers your gap. Neither pair fits a gap between 25 and 27 cm, so ask us before you order.
- Keep it level: set the legs so the base is flat and touches both legs evenly.
Common mistakes when choosing bed legs
- Skipping them on a wide bed: a wide base without support in the middle is less stable.
- Expecting them to raise the bed: middle legs support the base at its current height.
- Measuring too late: if the gap falls outside both ranges, the legs will not fit. Measure before you order.

Frequently asked questions
What height of bed leg should I choose?
The pair whose range covers the gap: 21 to 25 cm, or 27 to 30 cm. Measure in the middle, where the legs go.
How do you fit a bed leg on a slatted base?
You fit it under the middle of the base yourself. Each order includes two legs.
Do the legs come as a pair?
Yes. Each order is one pair of two legs, enough for the centre of one bed.
Can I raise my bed with these legs?
No. They support the base at the height it already has.
