Washing Machine Cabinets
12 resultsOur washing machine cabinets are all about 68 cm deep, so they line up along one wall. You can stack a washer and dryer, or raise one machine to working height with a drawer below. Matching cabinets for laundry baskets complete the set, in white or anthracite (dark grey). For more storage, see our storage cabinets.
How to choose a washing machine cabinet
- Measure the machine, then add space: a 60 cm machine needs a space wider than 60 cm. Leave a few centimetres at each side and check your machine's manual.
- Allow for hoses: leave space behind the machine for the hoses and the plug.
- Stacking a dryer: the washing machine goes at the bottom. Only stack a dryer that your manufacturer approves for your washer, with the stacking kit that manufacturer sells for it.
- Working height: a raised machine saves you from bending to load and unload. Our 162 cm cabinet lifts one machine to that height.
Common mistakes when choosing a washing machine cabinet
- Forgetting ventilation: a dryer needs good airflow around it. Check your dryer's manual for the clearance it needs.
- Stacking without a kit: without the right kit, the dryer can slide off the washer.
- An uneven floor: the machines need a firm, level floor. Set the adjustable feet so everything stands level.
- Forgetting the weight: a washer and dryer together can weigh well over 100 kg. Make sure the floor is solid.
