Dining Tables
9 resultsOur dining tables are 120 to 230 cm long and seat four to eight people. Choose a round, oval or rectangular table, in dark brown, mango wood or matt black. For the chairs, see our dining chairs.
How to choose a dining table
- Seats: each person needs about 60 cm of table edge. A 120 cm table seats four, and a 180 cm table seats six.
- Room around it: leave at least 80 cm between the table and the wall or other furniture, so chairs can be pulled out.
- Shape: a round table has no corners and suits a square or small room. A rectangular table suits a longer room and larger families. An oval gives the same seats with a lighter look.
Common mistakes when choosing a dining table
- Guessing the room size: measure the room, then subtract the space for the chairs.
- Forgetting the chairs: without enough room behind the table, chairs hit the wall.
- Too small for the household: count how many people eat at the table every day.
What size dining table for a small dining room?
Leave room for the chairs on each side. A 120 cm table needs a room of about 280 cm. A round table, such as our 120 cm round table, makes it easier to move around. For a narrow room, the matt black table is only 80 cm wide.
