Bedside Tables
2 resultsOur bedside tables are 43 to 55 cm high and come from children's ranges that match some of our kids' beds. Choose one close to the height of the mattress. For more storage in the room, see our dressers and wardrobes.
How to choose a bedside table
- Height: choose a bedside table about level with the top of your mattress. Measure from the floor to the top of the mattress, not the frame.
- A small gap: leave a little room between the bed and the bedside table, so the bedding does not get caught.
- Drawers: drawers keep small things tidy and out of sight. The white Amori has three, and the red Monza has two.
Common mistakes when choosing a bedside table
- Much lower than the mattress: you lean over every time you reach for the lamp or your phone.
- Too small a top: ours are 45 to 50 cm wide, room for a lamp, a book and a glass. Check that is enough for you.
- Blocking a door: check that the bedside table leaves room for a nearby wardrobe or room door to open.

Frequently asked questions
How high should a bedside table be?
About the same height as the top of your mattress, so a lamp and a book are easy to reach. Ours are 43 to 55 cm high.
How much space does a bedside table need beside the bed?
Ours are 45 to 50 cm wide. Leave a few centimetres between the table and the bed, so the bedding does not catch on it.
How wide should a bedside table be?
Most are about 40 to 60 cm wide. Ours sit in the middle of that, enough for a lamp and a book.
What material are your bedside tables made of?
Lacquered MDF (wood fibreboard), in white with heart handles or in high-gloss red. Wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
