Our bed legs

Our bed leg range is straightforward: two pairs of metal Rousseau middle legs, each at its own height.

• Middle legs 21 to 25 cm: the lower Rousseau pair, adjustable from 21 to 25 cm.

• Middle legs 27 to 30 cm: the higher Rousseau pair, adjustable from 27 to 30 cm.

• Sturdy metal: both pairs are made of metal, in a metal finish.

Why add extra bed legs

Fitting a pair of bed legs is a small job, but you feel the difference in firmness the next time you get into bed.

• Firmer in the middle: that is where most of the pressure falls, and where the legs take the weight.

• No sagging base: the slats stay straight instead of flexing.

• Two heights: choose 21 to 25 cm or 27 to 30 cm, depending on your bed frame.

• Simple to fit: the legs sit in the middle, under the cross slat of your bed base.

• A longer life: less sagging means the frame and base last longer.

When you need bed legs

Not every bed needs extra support, but a few situations usually settle it.

• A wide bed: from about 140 cm, a support in the middle is nearly always worth considering.

• A base that flexes: if you feel the slats bending in the middle, bed legs are the answer.

• A heavy mattress: the heavier the mattress, the more that middle support helps.
