Our beds at a glance

91 beds and bed parts, from a toddler's first bed to a double with a storage trunk.

• Children's beds : car beds, house beds and cabin beds, mostly 90 x 200 cm.

• Bunk and loft beds : stacked or raised, including splittable models that become two beds.

• Double beds : 140 x 200 and 160 x 200 cm, in metal, fabric or PU leather.

• Bases and parts : slatted bases in kit form, bed drawers and central legs.

Start from the mattress size

The size decides most of the shortlist before style comes into it.

• 70 x 140 cm : toddler beds, the step up from a cot.

• 90 x 200 cm : the standard single, and what most children's beds use.

• 140 x 200 cm : a small double, listed here as a three-quarter bed.

• 160 x 200 cm : the full double, mostly Interiax frames with a base included.

What comes in the box

Beds differ in how much is included, which is worth checking before you order.

• Slatted base included : most Interiax frames state this in the product name.

• Base sold separately : the Zittaro, Ruby and Alpha bases are ordered on their own.

• Storage built in : Morris has a trunk under the base, Amori and Olivia have drawers.

• Mattress never included : one exception is the Safari folding bed, which has a 9 cm mattress.
